Just watched BvS Ultimate Edition for the first time — after seeing this movie in the theaters. Here’s what I learned from two superheroes while they work out their mother issues:
1. Just because you add 31 minutes of content, doesn’t mean it fixes the broken storytelling.
2. Sometimes, Batman doesn’t follow his whole “don’t kill people” rule.
3. Wonder Woman’s theme music is by far the best of the post-Nolan superhero movies.
4. Superman: Don’t kill me my mom’s name is Martha.
Batman: OMG mine too!
Superman: So great let’s be friends! Also my mom’s been kidnapped.
Batman: Best friends OK I’ll go save your mom!
5. Superman is Scottish.
